My roommates LCD TV has an issue with its power converter where for the first 15 minutes of it being powered on it creates this blur of images and colors that create something quite wonderful. I filmed in a series of 15 min bursts then had to wait a few hours to film more. I took that footage and compiled it into After Effects and Final Cut and did some minor manipulation and sound editing. Hope you enjoy.

It was part one in a three part series of abstract video work. The series went on to win best of show for the UWM 2009 Student Film Festival and has had three additional official screenings within the Milwaukee area.
